FOR LONG-TERM FUNDAMENTAL INVESTORS

Finn covers your full investment process, from the first idea to the exit.

Tell Finn your themes and the beliefs behind each position. It researches how each theme could play out, files everything that comes in under the belief it supports or contradicts, keeps your models and KPIs current, and records every decision with the price and your reasoning.

WHAT FINN IS

Finn is built around the beliefs behind each of your positions.

Every long-term position rests on a few beliefs about how the world will change. Finn gives each theme and company its own page, files every new piece of evidence under the belief it supports or contradicts, and shows you which ideas still hold. It does this every day, without being asked.

See where every idea stands

Each theme and company has its own page: what has to be true, which beliefs are supported, contested or untested, how the evidence has moved, and what you decided. You can catch up on any of them in a few minutes.

Hear about it when the evidence turns

Finn reads filings, results, transcripts, news, broker notes and the newsletters you forward, and files each item under the belief it affects. If a belief comes under pressure, you hear about it, whether or not the share price has moved.

Finn does the recurring work: first drafts of new themes, the companies each theme touches, model updates after results, daily reading, KPI tracking and your portfolio dashboards. Your team keeps the thinking and the decisions.

Judge decisions on what you knew at the time

Every buy, sell, pass and exit is logged with your reasoning, the price and the state of your thesis that day. A year later you can tell reasoning from luck and spot the habits that cost you, like selling while your thesis still held.

WHAT FINN DOES

From first idea to exit.

Finn gets to work every morning, and again whenever there’s news on one of your names. Use it for every step below, or only the ones you need.

For every theme, Finn maps the value chain: who benefits first, who ends up absorbing the cost, and the margins at each step. For each company you see its yield, valuation and latest results against consensus. Finn also suggests companies that fit the theme and your mandate, and you can follow or pass on each with one tap.

Start every day with a briefing on your portfolio

Each morning’s briefing opens with the story that matters most for your portfolio and the part of your thesis it tests. Below that: what came in overnight, questions waiting for your answer, and the dates coming up. Read it in the app, on WhatsApp or by email. Each question takes one tap to answer.

Turn an idea into a researched theme

Send Finn an idea in a sentence, such as “Has the market written off some software companies too early?” It comes back with a theme page: how the idea could play out, what has to be true for it to work, and which companies it affects. Finn breaks the idea into the beliefs it depends on. You keep, rewrite or drop each one, and the thesis stays in your words.

See when the evidence turns against your thesis

Every filing, results release and news story is filed under the belief it supports or contradicts, with the source attached. Each belief is marked supported, contested or untested. You decide in advance what would prove a belief wrong. When the evidence gets close, Finn sets out the case for and against and asks whether to keep the belief, rewrite it or drop it. This happens whether or not the share price has moved.

Track the KPIs that matter to your thesis

Pin the numbers that would confirm or break your thesis and set your own alert levels. Finn tracks the latest value, the trend and the next release date, and alerts you when a level is crossed.

Keep your models up to date after every print

Finn builds financial models in Excel with live formulas, scenarios and sensitivities, and updates them after each set of results. Every workbook has separate tabs for sources and checks, so you can trace any number.

Keep a record of every decision

When you buy, sell, pass on a name or exit, tell Finn why. It logs your reasoning with the date, the price and the state of your thesis at that moment. A year later, you can see which outcomes came from good reasoning and which came from luck. Entries are timestamped and can’t be backdated.

WHAT’S UNDERNEATH

Finn verifies every number, and your research stays private.

It also works on its own every day and remembers everything you’ve told it. The largest funds build this in-house with their own engineers. With Finn, that work is ours.

YOUR DATA STAYS PRIVATE

Your ideas, notes, positions and decisions are never shared with anyone, never pooled with other clients and never used to train AI models, ours or anyone else’s.

LICENSED DATA, EVERY NUMBER CHECKED

Market data, filings and transcripts come from licensed providers. Every number is checked against its source, and you can click any figure to see where it came from.

FULLY AUTONOMOUS

Finn starts work each morning and whenever something happens on one of your names, from a new filing to a sharp price move. You don’t have to ask.

LONG-TERM MEMORY

Finn remembers your themes, beliefs, notes and decisions, plus any proprietary data you share. Everything it does builds on them, and it gets more useful the longer you use it.

HOW TO GET STARTED

Start with one name or one theme.

Pick one theme you’re working on. Finn takes it through the full process, from research to the decisions you log, so you can judge the results before you add the rest of your portfolio. Get started in a few minutes.

1. Give Finn one theme

Describe an idea you’re working on in a sentence, or forward your notes on it. There’s no call to book and nothing to install.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before getting started

How is Finn different from Claude or ChatGPT?

A chat model starts from scratch every time. It doesn’t know your themes or why you own each position, it can’t see your portfolio, and it will state a made-up number as confidently as a real one. Finn keeps one memory of your portfolio and works on it every day without being asked. Its numbers come from licensed data, filings and transcripts, a second model checks every claim against the source, and we run all of it, so nobody on your team has to maintain prompts, tools or data feeds.

How is my data protected?

Your positions, themes, beliefs, notes and decisions are stored separately from other clients and used only to run Finn for you. We never share, sell or pool them, and never use them to train AI models, ours or anyone else’s. Finn’s model providers work under commercial terms that exclude training on customer data. If your firm has specific security requirements, raise them during onboarding and we’ll resolve them before you share anything sensitive. Data, privacy and security at Finn sets out what we store and where, including how to run Finn inside your own perimeter.

How do I know the output is accurate?

Every number in Finn comes from licensed data or a filing and links to the document it came from. A second model checks each number and source against the original before you see it. If Finn can’t find solid support for a claim, it says so instead of guessing.

What does Finn read?

Exchange filings, results releases, earnings call transcripts, management commentary, financial news and industry publications, plus any broker reports and newsletters you forward or share through Google Drive. Each item is filed under the theme, company and belief it affects. Finn also flags developments that don’t fit any of your beliefs yet. Anything you forward is read for you only and never shared.

Can Finn use our own research and data?

Yes. Forward notes, broker reports and newsletters, or share a Google Drive folder, and Finn files them under the themes and beliefs they relate to. Everything you share stays in your own memory and is never used for anyone else. On Enterprise we also connect your internal systems and keep your own models up to date.

What do you mean by beliefs?

A belief is one thing that has to be true for your thesis to work, such as "exportable palm oil supply tightens in 2026." Finn breaks each theme into a few of them, files new evidence under each one, and marks it supported, contested or untested. You write and own them; Finn never changes them.

Does Finn tell me what to buy or sell?

No. Finn never gives a buy, sell or hold call and never sizes a position. It watches the levels and beliefs you set, tells you when one is hit or under pressure, and lays out the case for and against. The decision is yours, and Finn logs it with your reasoning.

How do I get started?

Sign up and give Finn one theme you’re working on. Setup takes about ten minutes, and Finn takes that theme through the full process: research, companies, models, KPIs and the decisions you log. Add more themes and your positions whenever you’re ready. You can use Finn in the web app, on WhatsApp or by email, and our team checks in during your first week. The trial runs for 14 days with every feature on, and you’re not charged until it ends.

How often will Finn contact me?

You get a morning briefing in the app each day, and on WhatsApp or by email if you like. Between mornings, Finn only contacts you when something happens on one of your names or a belief comes under pressure. You choose the channels and how often, and you can change them at any time.

Is Finn for individual investors?

No. Finn is built for people who manage money professionally and hold positions for years: portfolio managers and analysts at funds, family offices and wealth managers. If you invest your own money and want to follow a few names, try Track one stock, free.
